Join us on November 21, 2022 for the Critical Digital Humanities Initiative’s (CDHI’s) second praxis workshop of the 2022-2023 academic year on “Media Training for Humanities Researchers.”
This workshop is designed to help humanities researchers understand the benefits of engaging with the media, learn what makes a story a good fit for media coverage, and the different tactics they can use to get attention for their research. We’ll also cover tips and tricks for interviews, including how to prepare, how to answer tricky questions, and what to expect from journalists.
This workshop will be facilitated by Josslyn Johnstone and Sean Bettam, Communications & Media Relations Specialists for the Faculty of Arts and Science, University of Toronto.
This workshop will be a virtual event. Pre-registration is required and available at this link.
