This workshop is designed to introduce humanities researchers to key UXD (User Experience Design) concepts and guide you through a goal setting activity which will help you come up with a plan and a website structure for your project. If you already have a website and would like to update it, or if you are in the process of getting your research together to put in a digital platform, this workshop is for you!
Who is this for? People who want to make a digital platform (website) to showcase your research project. It is important that you have spent some time thinking about the type of content you would want on your website before joining us for the workshop.
What will I get out of it? Participants will leave this workshop equipped with a solid grasp of UXD principles, along with a customized plan, website structure, and organized content for effectively showcasing your research project on a digital platform.
This will be an IN PERSON workshop held in the Claude T. Bissel building, room 312 on the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. The workshop facilitator is Parita Patel, CDHI’s UX Design Co-Op Student. Registration is required and spaced is limited. Please register through Eventbrite: https://UX-design-praxis.eventbrite.ca
