Digital Presence for DH: WordPress 101

Please join us on Thursday, April 20 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the Collaborative Digital Research Space (CDRS) for Digital Presence for DH: WordPress 101, an in-person introductory workshop designed to give you the skills to create your own personal or research website!
As the first in a series of Digital Presence for DH workshops, this workshop is intended for faculty and researchers in the Digital Humanities, including graduate students and postdocs, as well as staff. No prior experience creating websites is required or expected.
By the end of this workshop, participants will have learned how to select a domain name and web hosting provider for a personal or research website. Participants will have also created a simple personal website using WordPress, hosted for free on wordpress.com, able to be further developed, customized, or ported to a different domain and host.
This workshop will be led by Matt Lefaive, Digital Humanities Developer in the CDHI.
