Many of us working in digital humanities find we need working space in which to meet with collaborators, students, and others working on our digital humanities projects. The Jackman Humanities Institute at the University of Toronto has a “Digital Humanities” space (see photo right) for University of Toronto faculty members, from any unit, who are leading digital humanities research projects. This is a shared space (with other digital humanities projects), with a BYOE (bring your own equipment) policy.
We are seeking faculty applications to have access to this space for research projects being undertaken from now through June 1, 2020, with renewal possible. To apply, send a one page proposal that outlines: a) your project; b) your team; c) when during the week you would need lab space. Please send us three time slots during the week from 9-12 pm and 1-4 pm that you could envision your group using the space for academic year 2018-19.
